Melia Salinas will reopen in May

The Melia Salinas Hotel in Costa Teguise will reopen on May 22nd under the new name of Paradisus Salinas Lanzarote. It will be five-star, adults only hotel offering a “Destination Inclusive” experience that “combines “luxury with local culture and nature”, according to reports in Hosteltur.

Madrid-Lanzarote pilot scheme

Flights from Lanzarote to Madrid will be declared a “Public Service Obligation” route, in a pilot scheme which will see fares to and from Spain's capital kept under a maximum price limit.
