The Manchester flights will start operating next April and the Stansted route will open in October.La Palma already has a small tourism industry, with visitors usually arriving from Tenerife and its profile was raised in 2021 following the volcanic eruption on the island.Although beaches are few and far between, the island is famed for its stunning Caldera de Taburiente National Park and its elegant old capital, Santa Cruz.CAT & DOG OF THE MONTHSolita is a four-and-a-half-year-old female podenco.
