It will tell the story of Elsa, a workaholic whose mother dies during a Christmas holiday and who later suffers a breakdown that causes her to take a break on Lanzarote.In 2008 Almod%u00f3var arrived on the island with Pen%u00e9lope Cruz to film sections of his filmAbrazos Rotos(%u201cBroken Embraces%u201d) set in Famara, Har%u00eda and Tahiche.1,900 people took part in the Lanzarote Wine Run over the weekend, a hugely successful event that attracted thousands more to Uga and Lanzarote%u2019s wine country.The 23 kilometres women%u2019s race was won by Aroa Merino, while Yerove Rodr%u00edguez took the men%u2019s title.
