A week later, they needed a win to continue the push but another away defeat 2-0 to UD Las Palmas C knocked the wind out of their sails.The following Sunday, the players once again teased the fans with another 3-1 home win, again rekindling some hope. Then, on Saturday 11th April a group of Lanzarote fans joined the club on an excursion to Fuerteventura to play relegation-threatened CD Herbania. Other Rojillos supporters had made their own way there, which led to a great little atmosphere, everyone fully believing that this would be the day our side would find their first away win since October and keep the dream alive.But the hosts had a script of their own which was to hold on and try and nick it at the end. Lanzarote had the better chances in the first half, but the Majoreros (Fuerteventurans) battled and frustrated Lanzarote. The game opened up in the second half as the home side could see a chance of three points that would take them out of the relegation positions.
