This month%u2019s Ironman Lanzarote on May 23rd will be the last to be organised by Club La Santa, it was announced last month.A press release issued jointly by Club La Santa and IRONMAN at noon said %u201cClub La Santa, the hotel and sports complex that has hosted the 34 editions of the race, will step down as the operator and title partner of IRONMAN Lanzarote from 2027.No reason has been given for the decision, but Cabildo Sports Councillor Juan Monz%u00f3n has assured islanders that the event will continue, and that the island government is in advanced negotiations with the Ironman organisation.
