Spain is not yet facing another housing bubble, according to a report in El Pais, but caution is required.

Rising house prices and inflation have prompted the European Central Bank to warn of the “exuberance” of the European property sector (another way of saying “bubble”), but the warning. refers to other countries apart from Spain.

Nevertheless, memories of 2008, when the Spanish property bubble popped spectacularly after the global financial crisis, still haunt the sector.

Experts agree that the situation in Spain is not yet of concern, but the international situation is another matter, and the bursting of a global bubble would have a knock-on effect on the Spanish sector.
