Canarian estate agents are rapidly adapting to the “new normality” following the coronavirus crisis, with agents and clients being provided with kits that masks, gloves, plastic booties and sachets of hand sanitising gel for house visits.

Offices are also installing protective screen to provide a barrier between assistants and customers, but the real changes are likely to be seen online, away from the physical interface entirely.
Clients who are in the most vulnerable age groups or who are simply afraid to go on a house visit are now being catered to with virtual tours. What was once seen as a gimmick is now becoming a more and more vital tool in the armoury of any estate agent.
