A closer look will reveal beautiful wild flowers, buzzing insects and life bursting forth in every corner. There%u2019ll be colour in the resorts, too, as Costa Teguise and Playa Blanca celebrate their carnival parades and Puerto del Carmen honours St Patrick. Anyone whose attended these events in the past knows that fine weather is not guaranteed, but that rarely put off the revellers.There%u2019ll be sunshine %u2013 plenty of it. There always is on Lanzarote, but you may also see clouds, showers, rainbows, even the outside chance of a calima, so be prepared. A warm jacket, light jumper and a windcheater may be needed, but you%u2019re just as likely to be in short sleeves.March on Lanzarote is rarely predictable, but it%u2019s also one of the most exciting, colourful times on the island. On this island, every cloud really does have a precious silver lining.
