July 2026 | Gazette Life | 9Visitors planning a trip to Timanfaya National Park should be aware of changes to how access to the iconic Monta%u00f1as del Fuego is managed.On June 15th, the Cabildo introduced a new timed entry system for visits to Timanfaya, designed to reduce congestion and help protect the unique volcanic landscape that attracts hundreds of thousands of people each year.The new process requires visitors to:1. Select the date of their visit.2. Check available time slots.3. Choose their preferred entry time.4. Arrive at the ticket office 15 minutes before the selected time to validate their ticket.Visitors are advised to download their ticket or QR code before arriving at the park and have it ready for presentation.DOG AND CAT OF THE MONTHOcky is a lovely, lively, and friendly male Bardino-mix.
